Boat

Jofiel is a Indonesian Phinisi Buginesse Schooner liveaboard, was constructed in 2017/2018, measuring 20m length and 4m width, with average cruising speed at 8 knots per hour. the boat has two ship’s mast, a classic style of Phinisi Boat which was built by the local people using Iron Wood.

Jofiel features a beautiful airy outdoor lounge area on the main deck. The fusion bar and deck areas are all wonderfully arranged. The main lazy outdoor space, the large sun deck with lounge chairs and day beds and outside dining areas let the breeze through, great areas for sunsets and cocktails. Which is usually the nicest experience.

The dive platform is simply but fresh, comes with everything you need for diving activity, as well as one tender boat.

Meals will be a selection of freshly-cooked Indonesian and Western meals, along with the catch of the day, and freshly snack and treats throughout the day. The food are cooked fresh every day with locally sourced ingredients. And if needed, special vegetarian food can be served during the trip.

Cabin

Jofiel has 3 air-conditioned guest cabins, it can accommodate 6 - 7 guests：

All cabins are equipped with en-suite bathroom, storage area, 220 V electric plugs.

1 Master Cabin:
Located on the main deck, with a double bed, and its own spacious private balcony, lots of seaview windows.

1 Deluxe double Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, comes with a double bed, portholes.

1 Deluxe twin/triple Cabin:
Located on the lower deck, comes with one double bed and one single bed in bunk style, portholes.

Diving

Up to 4 dives per day, depending on conditions and route.
Diving will be provided on the day of arrival and departure.
All diving will provide expericed guide to lead the dive.
Snorkeling gears are included for the trip, as well as guide.

Komodo National Park 4D / 3N - Diving

Labuan Bajo - Labuan Bajo, departs from the small harbor town of Labuan Bajo

You will have the convenience of waking up in the park and the advantage of being one of the first on the dive site. A liveaboard gives you the flexibility to enter the dive sites on the right tide and have long relaxing surfaces intervals.

A typical 4D/3N trip would look as followed :

Day 1
Our journey starts at 9.00 AM leaving Labuan Bajo harbor and heading towards the park. After a welcome drink and introduction of the crew and boat we get ready for the first dives of the trip.

Dive 1 : Sebayur Kecil – Check Dive
Dive 2 : Mini Wall
Dive 3 : Wainilu – Night dive

Day 2
An intense day of 4 exhilarating dives to some of Komodo’s most famous sites.

Dive 1 : Castle Rock
Dive 2 : Crystal Rock
Dive 3 : Cauldron
Dive 4 : Siaba Besar or similar – Night dive

Day 3
Today you will have the chance to see the most famous island with its unique landscape - Padar Island. Taking amazing photos!!

Visit : Trekking at Padar Island
Dive 1 : Padar Bay
Dive 2 : 3 Sister
Dive 3 : Pilarsteen
Dive 4 : Night dive

Day 4
You can choose to make 3 dives today or 2 dives with the Komodo Dragon tour, and see the giant lizards of Komodo. The local ranger will tell you everything you want to know about these living fossils. During the walk on Rinca we make stops at the dragons nest and some magnificent views over the park.

To provide maximum safety and fun we dive in small groups: max. 4 divers per guide according to experience level and conditions. All guides dive with a Nautilus Lifeline: a submersible Radio & GPS that can contact the boat from the surface at anytime, anywhere. Our experienced guides meticulously plan out the dives so we can for example have the tides in our favor to increase the chance of seeing mantas.

We highly recommend divers to arrive one day before check-in in Labuan Bajo, and stay one more night in Labuan Bajo after the check-out!! (In order to NOT miss any dives according to your flight schedule.)
