Boat

Coralia is a 48 meter long, 9.10 meter wide phinisi woooden schooner yatch that constructed during 2016 ~ 2019, and launched in 2019, with 2 Mitsubishi Marine Engines and cruises at 9 - 11 knots. It is a liveaboard that is committed to creating sustainable and unforgettable human-nature experiences, a dream come true for every nature enthusiast! Luxurious cabins, spacious decks with lots of relaxation areas, delicious food, and of course spectacular diving and snorkeling.

Coralia offer plenty of spots to enjoy the view, dine, sunbathe or simply relax. The sun deck is at the very top and the airy main and upper decks feature each an outdoor dining and a leisure area with plenty of cozy sofas and loungers.

If you prefer to cool down a bit, you can do so in the air-conditioned lounge and restaurant on the main deck. Here you will also find our fish ID library and audio/video entertainment. We provide free WiFi for our guests on board, depending on the local cell phone reception.

After a busy diving day, you might use the opportunity to indulge in a soothing massage at our spa on the top deck. If you’d like little presents for those waiting for you at home, you can get them in our small souvenir shop on board.

Coralia has an air-conditioned restaurant as well as our outdoor dining areas are the perfect spots to indulge in the delicious creations of our Ambonese chef and his team. From early breakfast before the first dive, followed by a large breakfast, over lunch, afternoon snacks, right up to dinner, you will be spoiled with highlights of local and international cuisine. Vegan and vegetarian options are available, and there will always be additional snacks such as cookies and a fruit bowl throughout the day. Dinner is served sometimes a la carte, sometimes buffet style, and once per cruise will have a mouthwatering barbeque night.

Coralia not only offer diving activity, you will visit secluded places, viewpoints to indulge in spectacular panoramas, bird watching spots and small hiking trails, depending on the cruise itinerary. Kayaks and paddleboards will be available for you to explore the surroundings.

Cabin

Coralia has 8 spacious cabins, designed by internationally renowned Deidre Renniers. It can accommodate up to 16 guests in modern comfort and style while incorporating traditional details.

All cabins are air-conditioned, non-smoking, and has a spacious private bathroom with hairdryer, natural soap and shower amenities. All cabins have a sofa, working desk, closet, safety box, regular and USB charging stations.

4 Master Suites :
Located on the main deck and upper deck, these suites are spacious and airy - 30 m² space, comes with a king size double bed, and a private balcony with sun chair and outside sofa.

2 Deluxe Double Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, with 24 m² space, each cabin comes with a king size double bed, and the sofa in this cabin can be turned into a 3rd bed for triple use if needed, portholes.

2 Deluxe Twin Cabins :
Located on the lower deck, with 22 m² space, each cabin comes with two single beds side by side, portholes.

This boat is often fully booked, we strongly advise divers to book one year ahead for the ideal dates you want.

Diving

• 3 dives per day + alternating additional sunset/night dives.

• No dive on the embarkation and disembarkation day.

• Only 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the last diving day.

• All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.

• Dive group will be no more than 6 divers per dive guide.

• Nautilus Life Line will be provided for divers onboard.

• Kayaks and paddleboards will be available free of charge.

Alor

Alor liveaboard diving is an amazing adventure. Drift over reefs entirely covered in anemones, dance with an ancient tribe, relax on deck while looking out for super pods of dolphins and see the Holy Grail of Fish – Rhinopias! Alor can be dived on Coralia as part of an extended tour either to the Forgotten Islands or combined with Komodo. In 2021 we have one special Alor cruise from Maumere to Maumere.

Coralia visits Alor in April/May and again August/September. This is when the sea is calmest and you will be able to dive in the southern areas.

Forgotten Islands and Banda Sea

The Forgotten Islands and the Banda Sea can be dived on Coralia as part of a dedicated Forgotten Islands cruise. The Banda Sea will also be visited during our trips from Ambon to Raja Ampat in October and November or back again in April.

Cruises to the Forgotten Islands can start in Maumere, with this embarkation point the trip will also include Alor. You can read more about cruises through Alor here . The other option is to start in Saumlaki, on the island of Tanimbar, and finish in Ambon.

The Forgotten Islands and Banda Sea can only be dived at certain times of the year due to weather conditions. Coralia has cruises in the Banda Sea in April when we cross down from Raja Ampat. We go to the Forgotten Islands in October and November when we cross back up to Raja Ampat. This is when the sea is at its calmest.

Cenderawasih Bay

Cenderawasih Bay’s western edge is a National Park and Indonesia’s largest. This area is part of the Bird’s Head Seascape, along with Raja Ampat and Triton Bay. It is a new dive destination, complete with the highlight for many, whale shark encounters. Coralia Liveaboard will visit Cenderawasih Bay in 2024 during July and August. Some cruises depart from or arrive into Sorong, others from Manokwari.

Cenderawasih Bay can be dived all year round but it is best dived on a liveaboard cruise. Coralia visits in July and August. This is when the sea is calmest and the weather conditions are the best.

Halmahera

Halmahera is in the Coral Triangle and sits right in the path of the Indonesian Throughflow. This force of nature brings with it an abundance of nutrients, making this area the most biodiverse in the world.

Coralia Liveaboard visits this fantastic, remote destination as part of several different cruises. You can start or finish with the outstanding diving of Raja Ampat. Or include the magnificent diving in Lembeh Strait.

Halmahera can be dived all year round but it is best dived on a liveaboard cruise. Coralia visits Halmahera in April and May.

Komodo

Diving in Komodo offers an exciting variety of dive sites and experiences. Komodo National Park is home to the world’s largest lizard, the Komodo Dragon. This area is a World Heritage Site and one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

Komodo has it all! Beautiful soft coral reefs, exhilarating drift dives, spectacular hard coral reefs, fishy pinnacles and black sand muck dives. Komodo is home to a large population of manta rays, large schools of fish, turtles, reef sharks and a myriad of weird and wonderful fish and critters!

Komodo can be dived all year round but it is best dived on a liveaboard cruise. Coralia visits Komodo in May and July to September. This is when the sea is calmest and you should be able to dive in the southern areas (where the day trips don’t go!)

Raja Ampat

Coralia Liveaboard has different length cruises taking in all the various areas that are encompassed within the amazing destination of Raja Ampat. Raja Ampat is right in the centre of the Coral Triangle. According to Conservation International marine surveys suggest that the marine life diversity in the Raja Ampat area is the highest recorded on earth.

Raja Ampat means ‘Four Kings’. In an archipelago of over 1,500 small islands there are four main islands or ‘kings’– Waigeo, Salawati, Batanta, Misool.

Raja Ampat can be dived all year round! Coralia cruises in Raja Ampat usually from September to May.
